In a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live that aired on Thursday, the iconic designer Diane von Furstenberg, 72, spilled the beans about her former fling with Richard Gere!
The lively segment featured von Furstenberg joining host Andy Cohen for a game called “DVF or WTF?” where they were presented with statements about the fashion maven, and had to determine their authenticity alongside guest Julianne Moore.
One of the intriguing facts presented was about von Furstenberg's brief romantic involvement with Richard Gere in the past.
Cohen took a guess that the statement was true, while Moore humorously opted for ‘What the f—?'.
To the amusement of the audience, von Furstenberg playfully confirmed, “Well, it was a f—,” eliciting cheers and laughter from the crowd.
Despite their romantic history, Gere, now 69, is happily married.
He and his wife Alejandra Silva, 35, joyfully welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, in February.
Gere also has a 19-year-old son named Homer James Jigme from his previous marriage to Carey Lowell, while Silva is a mother to a 6-year-old son named Albert from a prior relationship.
Having known each other for more than ten years, Gere and Silva began dating in 2014 before tying the knot in a private ceremony weeks earlier in April 2018, as shared by a close source to the couple.
Describing their relationship as filled with ease, joy, and anticipation for the future, the insider disclosed that the couple is genuinely content and excited about the journey ahead.
