According to a source, Jolie felt the need to hire a private investigator because she suspected Pitt of being unfaithful on set, and it turns out her suspicions were correct.

This discovery was said to be the final straw for Jolie.

However, representatives for Cotillard deny these claims and assert that she is still very much in love with her long-term partner, actor/director Guillaume Canet.

The source emphasizes that they have been together since 2007, have one child, but have never tied the knot.

Another insider revealed to The Post that Jolie had grown tired of constant arguments with Pitt over their lifestyle choices.

She desired a more low-key existence, focusing on their family and her humanitarian work, while Pitt continued to enjoy the Hollywood party scene.
