Evan Rachel Wood Alleges Forced s**ual Act by Marilyn Manson During 2007 Music Video Shoot

In a shocking revelation, Evan Rachel Wood has accused her ex-partner, , of abuse that she claims began during the filming of his “Heart-Shaped Glasses” music video in 2007.

Speaking out in the gripping two-part documentary Phoenix Rising, the first half of which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday, Wood detailed the traumatic experience.

According to People, Wood stated in the documentary that she was “coerced into a commercial s** act under false pretenses,” adding, “That's when the first crime was committed against me.

I was essentially raped on-camera.”

At the time of the incident, Wood was only 19 years old, while Manson was 38.

She expressed her disappointment, saying that the shoot was “nothing like I thought it was going to be.”

Wood went on to explain that the explicit scenes in the video were not what had been initially discussed.

While they had agreed upon a simulated s** scene, Manson took advantage of the situation and began penetrating her without her consent.

Wood, a professional actress, felt violated and betrayed by this unprofessional conduct.

She stated, “I'm a professional actress, I've been doing this my whole life; I've never been on a set that unprofessional in my life up until this day.”

During the shoot, Wood also felt unsafe and uncomfortable.

She described feeling “disgusting” afterward and experiencing a sense of shame.

Wood further shared, “I could tell that the crew was very uncomfortable and nobody knew what to do.

No one was looking after me.

It was a really traumatizing experience filming the video.

I didn't know how to advocate for myself or know how to say no because I had been conditioned and trained to never talk back, to just soldier through.”

In response to these allegations, Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, denied any wrongdoing through a statement from his lawyer, Howard King, to E!

News on January 24.

King asserted that Manson did not engage in s**ual activity with Wood during the shoot and claimed that Wood was fully aware of her actions throughout the filming process.

Wood is not the only one to come forward with accusations against Manson.

Ashley Morgan Smithline, Manson's ex-girlfriend, and actress Esmé Bianco have also shared their stories of abuse and harassment.

Manson has vehemently denied all allegations, stating on Instagram in February 2021 that his relationships were consensual and that the recent claims against him were distortions of reality.

As a result of these allegations, Manson has been dropped by his record label, Loma Vista, as well as by the Creative Artists Agency.

Additionally, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has launched an investigation into reports of domestic violence, leading to a raid on Manson's home.

It is worth noting that Wood had previously spoken out about her experience of s**ual assault by an unnamed ex-partner in 2016.

In 2018, she testified before a subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee to advocate for the passage of the Survivors' Bill of Rights Act in all 50 states.

It wasn't until February 2021 that Wood publicly named Manson as her abuser, discussing the years of grooming and horrific abuse she endured.

In an Instagram post, Wood declared her determination to expose Manson and hold accountable the industries that enabled him, stating, “I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail.

I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives
