Fergie, the former Black Eyed Peas singer, recently opened up about a humiliating moment she experienced during a live performance back in 2005.
In an interview on the Ebro in the Morning show on Hot 97, the 39-year-old artist candidly discussed what she referred to as “the most unattractive moment of my life.”
During the interview, Fergie explained that the accident occurred because she was rushing to get onstage and didn't have enough time to use the restroom.
She emphasized that such incidents are not a regular occurrence for her.
She described the frantic rush to the stage, driving through heavy Friday traffic, and the pressure to start the show on time.
Fueled by adrenaline, she jumped and ran across the stage, resulting in the unfortunate mishap.
Reflecting on the incident, Fergie expressed her embarrassment and wished it hadn't happened.
Fortunately, she didn't dwell on the incident for too long, as she was there to promote her upcoming album set to be released early next year.
This news comes after the release of Fergie's latest single, “L.A. Love,” which marks her first solo song in six years.
The singer had taken a break from recording to spend time with her one-year-old son, Axl, whom she shares with her husband, actor Josh Duhamel.
In addition to promoting her new album, Fergie announced that she will be collaborating with rapper Nicki Minaj.
When asked about competition in the hip-hop industry, Fergie stated that healthy competition is normal and compared it to flirting, emphasizing that there is nothing wrong with it.
Despite the embarrassing incident from her past, Fergie continues to move forward in her career, focusing on her new music and collaborations.
Her fans eagerly await the release of her upcoming album, which promises to showcase her talent and versatility as an artist.
