Former Bond Girl Britt Ekland Regrets Lip Fillers, Says She Ruined Her Face

Britt Ekland, the renowned Swedish actress and former Bond girl, recently confessed to feeling like her natural beauty was stolen from her after undergoing cosmetic surgery.

In an interview with Platinum Magazine, she expressed deep regret over her decision to get lip augmentation, describing it as the “biggest mistake” of her life.

According to Ekland, almost 30 years ago, she received an “experimental” filler called Artecoll, which is derived from bovine collagen, from a doctor in Paris.

However, the procedure had devastating effects on her appearance.

To rectify the situation, she resorted to excruciatingly painful corticosteroid injections in an attempt to dissolve the filler.

While Ekland underwent these procedures in her 50s, she adamantly stated that she would never consider them again.

At the age of 78, she has no desire to change her natural appearance and accepts herself just as she is.

The actress rose to fame as the love interest of James Bond in the film “The Man With the Golden Gun,” where she starred alongside Roger Moore in 1974.

Reflecting on her past, Ekland admitted that she looked great before getting the lip fillers, but couldn't recognize it at the time.

Since her personal experience, Ekland has become an advocate against cosmetic procedures.

In 2008, she openly criticized for allegedly using Botox to eliminate wrinkles, emphasizing the negative consequences of such treatments.

Ekland described Kidman's face as expressionless, resembling a painted doll, and questioned why she would choose to modify her appearance in such a way.

In her recent interview with Platinum Magazine, Ekland revealed that she has finally embraced the idea of aging gracefully.

She feels better than ever and acknowledges that getting older is a universal experience that everyone goes through.

Ekland firmly believes that complaining or wishing to change the inevitable is pointless.

Instead, she advocates for self-care and taking care of oneself during the journey of aging.

In conclusion, Britt Ekland's story serves as a cautionary tale, reminding us of the potential risks and consequences associated with cosmetic procedures.

Her personal regret and subsequent acceptance of her natural appearance inspire a message of self-acceptance and embracing the beauty that comes with aging.
