Harvey Weinstein Accused of Bragging About Jennifer Lawrence Encounter

A recent lawsuit alleges that film producer boasted about having a s**ual encounter with after another actress rejected his advances.

This new claim surfaced in court documents, where an unnamed woman accused Weinstein of forcibly performing oral s** on her.

Weinstein has vehemently refuted all allegations of engaging in non-consensual s**ual activities.

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, recounts an incident from 2013 when the unnamed actress was allegedly pushed to the ground and s**ually assaulted during a meeting at Weinstein's office.

Reportedly, Weinstein made a statement insinuating that success in Hollywood was linked to submitting to his advances.

The woman claims he said, “I slept with , and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar,” after she rebuffed him, questioning her aspirations to become an actress.

Jennifer Lawrence swiftly responded to these allegations, denying any intimate involvement with Weinstein.

She expressed empathy for the women who have suffered due to Weinstein's actions and clarified that her association with him had always been strictly professional.

Having earned an Oscar for Best Actress in 2012 for her role in Silver Linings Playbook, which was produced by The Weinstein Company, Lawrence distanced herself from the scandal surrounding Weinstein.

The latest accuser, identified as Jane Doe in legal documents, is pursuing legal action against Weinstein and The Weinstein Company, citing charges of s**ual battery and discrimination.

A spokesperson for Weinstein refuted these claims, stating that the lawsuit was strategically crafted without prior notification to Weinstein's legal team to tarnish his reputation and attract unwarranted media attention.

Moreover, Weinstein's defense team emphasized that the allegations against Lawrence were baseless, highlighting the professional nature of their relationship.

The legal battle continues amid efforts by Weinstein's accusers to prevent the exposure of private emails that could potentially impact ongoing court proceedings.

Weinstein has sought permission from a Delaware bankruptcy court to retrieve files from The Weinstein Company to aid in his defense against s**ual assault accusations.

However, his accusers from a separate civil case are striving to block this move, citing concerns over privacy and the potential manipulation of public opinion.

As the legal saga unfolds, the truth behind the allegations against Weinstein remains contested, with both sides engaging in a fierce battle to protect their interests.

The next court appearance for Weinstein is scheduled for December 20.
