Harvey Weinstein’s Disturbing E-mail About Jennifer Aniston Sparks Outrage

Recently unsealed court documents obtained by the New York Times revealed a shocking e-mail exchange where , the convicted rapist, made a chilling suggestion that “should be killed.”

The threatening message was sent in October 2017 after Weinstein, aged 67, became aware of a s–ual assault claim made against him by the former Friends star.

In the previously sealed court papers, it was disclosed that Sallie Hofmeister, a former PR representative of Weinstein, forwarded him an e-mail from the National Enquirer outlining their intention to expose the disgraced movie mogul by publishing Aniston's private allegation against him.

The e-mail alerting Weinstein of the potential threat was shared with him.

The National Enquirer had reported that during the production of the 2005 dramatic thriller Derailed, Weinstein allegedly s–ually assaulted Aniston by pressing up against her back and grabbing her buttocks.

Another detail mentioned in the e-mail was Weinstein's behavior of staring at Aniston's cleavage and bre-sts, making her uncomfortable.

Weinstein's alarming response to the forwarded e-mail came approximately 45 minutes later when he replied, stating, “Jen Aniston should be killed.”

Despite the fact that the National Enquirer never published the allegations, this incident occurred during the peak of the #MeToo movement's resurgence.

The #MeToo movement originated in 2006, spearheaded by civil rights activist Tarana Burke, but gained momentum in October 2017 following numerous s–ual misconduct accusations against Weinstein, who was later convicted of s–ual assault.

Actress Alyssa Milano played a significant role in reviving the movement by encouraging women to share their experiences of harassment and assault using the hashtag #MeToo on social media.

The viral nature of the #MeToo hashtag prompted an outpouring of stories from millions of women who had been s–ually harassed or assaulted, creating a safe space for survivors to speak out without fear of judgment or backlash.

This movement led to a widespread public discussion on the prevalence of s–ual misconduct and empowered victims to come forward.

The e-mails exchanged between Weinstein and Hofmeister, which were disclosed in the unsealed court documents filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, surfaced prior to Weinstein's sentencing.

Consequently, Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in a New York State prison for rape and s–ual assault by Supreme Court Judge James Burke.

This marked a significant legal consequence for Weinstein's criminal actions.
