Hitler Remarks Lead to Megan Fox’s Departure from ‘Transformers’

Megan Fox's absence from the third installment of the “Transformers” series sparked rumors that she had been fired.

However, her representative quickly denied these claims, stating that it was her own decision not to return and that she wished the franchise well.

However, director Michael Bay has now shed light on the real reason behind Fox's departure.

In an interview with GQ, Bay revealed that executive producer Steven Spielberg had insisted on firing her immediately after hearing about Fox's comments regarding Bay in a 2009 interview with Wonderland Magazine.

In the interview, Fox compared Bay to Hitler, describing him as an infamous, mad-man dictator on set.

Despite this, she also mentioned finding his awkward personality endearing off-set.

Screenwriter Ehren Kruger, who worked on the “Transformers” films, also expressed his lack of support for Fox.

He stated that she did not seem interested in being a part of “Transformers: Dark of the Moon.”

Co-star Shia LaBeouf echoed this sentiment, revealing that Fox had spoken negatively about Bay, which he deemed unacceptable.

As a result, British model Rosie Huntington-Whitley replaced Fox in “Transformers 3,” set to premiere during the July 4 weekend.
