How Jennifer Aniston Reacted to Her On-Screen Kiss With Will Poulter

Jennifer Aniston has accumulated an extensive history of on-screen kisses throughout her career.

Mitchell Whitfield, who portrayed Aniston's character Rachel Green's ex-fiancé Barry in “Friends,” disclosed to Cinema Blend that kissing the actress was not as glamorous as one might assume.

Whitfield recounted how people would often inquire about his experience kissing Jennifer Aniston, to which he would explain the challenges of sharing an intimate moment with a longtime friend in front of a large audience under hot studio lights, making the moment lose its magic.

Similarly, Tate Donovan, who played Rachel's romantic interest Joshua in a six-episode story arc, faced a particularly challenging situation as he engaged in romantic scenes with Aniston amidst their real-life breakup.

The pair even had to share a kiss in the Season 4 episode titled “The One With Rachel's New Dress.”

Donovan later shared with Us Weekly his internal struggle while filming these intimate scenes with Aniston, admitting he found it emotionally taxing to separate their personal history from the characters they were portraying on screen.

Nevertheless, these experiences fade in comparison to Aniston's most uncomfortable on-screen kiss with Will Poulter, a young actor who was still a teenager when they filmed their kissing scene in the movie “We're the Millers.”

Poulter's youthful age during the filming added an additional layer of complexity to the situation, creating a unique dynamic for Aniston during their on-screen embrace.
