In a surprising revelation, actor Hugh Grant has finally shared the reasons behind his infidelity with prostitute Divine Brown, which led to the end of his relationship with Elizabeth Hurley over twenty years ago.
During an episode of Marc Maron's “WTF” podcast, the 60-year-old actor confessed that his mental state was troubled during the release of his 1995 movie “Nine Months,” triggering the infamous incident with Brown.
Grant expressed that he had a premonition about the film not being well-received after attending a screening, despite acknowledging the brilliance of his co-stars.
Feeling distressed and out of sorts, Grant mentioned indulging in a peculiar lunch inspired by filmmaker Ken Russell, which eventually culminated in his arrest for allegedly engaging in a s–ual act with Brown in a car in Los Angeles, purportedly exchanging $60 for oral s=x.
Following the scandal, Grant faced legal repercussions, including a $1,000 fine and mandatory participation in an AIDS education program.
Reflecting on his actions, he publicly acknowledged his regret and remorse, admitting to causing hurt to his loved ones and bringing embarrassment upon his colleagues.
Grant's relationship with Hurley, lasting over a decade, came to an end as a result of the scandal.
