Hugh Grant Uncomfortable Kissing Julia Roberts Due to Facial Feature

In the world of cinema, few on-screen pairs have captivated audiences like and in the 1999 romantic comedy ‘Notting Hill.'

The film achieved immense success and is regarded as one of the greatest British movies of all time.

However, behind the scenes, their relationship wasn't as harmonious as their characters' love story.

While ‘Notting Hill' is known for its heartwarming plot and comedic moments, Grant recently revealed that he envisions a sequel where their characters, William and Anna, go through a tumultuous divorce.

Although this may seem like a joke, Grant's comments shed light on the dynamics between him and Roberts off-screen.

During an episode of ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' in 2015, Grant admitted that he had made too many jokes about Roberts' mouth size, which strained their relationship.

He humorously remarked, “I've probably made too many jokes about the size of her mouth.

She might hate me by now.”

This revelation suggests that Grant's remarks about Roberts' kissing abilities caused tension between them.

In another interview with , Grant further elaborated on his discomfort while filming kissing scenes with Roberts.

He described her as having a physically large mouth and jokingly mentioned hearing an echo while kissing her.

These anecdotes shed light on the challenges they faced in their on-screen chemistry.

Despite their differences, Grant acknowledged that Roberts is a kind person, though he wouldn't go as far as calling her “one of the nicest people” as Winfrey did.

Over time, Roberts seemed to have forgiven Grant for his comments, expressing a willingness to work with him again in 2005.

However, it is unlikely that she will entertain Grant's idea for a ‘Notting Hill' sequel.

The revelations made by Grant highlight the complexities of working relationships in the entertainment industry.

While their on-screen chemistry may have been beloved by audiences, the behind-the-scenes tension serves as a reminder that not all co-stars get along seamlessly.

Despite this, ‘Notting Hill' remains a timeless classic that will continue to be cherished by fans around the world.
