In a recent interview with The New York Times, the iconic 82-year-old actress Jane Fonda shared intriguing details about her romantic liaisons with Hollywood legends such as Marlon Brando, Marvin Gaye, and Matt Tompkins.
Fonda, known for her role in “Grace and Frankie,” candidly discussed her interactions with these renowned figures during a playful game of “Confirm or Deny.”
Reflecting on her collaboration with Brando in the 1966 film “The Chase,” she praised his acting prowess but expressed disappointment in other aspects of their relationship.
Recounting a surprising incident involving Matt Tompkins, Fonda recounted an encounter that took place approximately 15 years ago in Tompkins' hometown of Omaha.
She recalled how he heroically pulled her back from the edge of danger, leading to a night filled with unexpected passion and intensity, leaving her thoroughly impressed.
Despite her admiration for Gaye's talent, Fonda revealed that she harbored regrets about not engaging in a romantic tryst with the legendary singer.
She disclosed that although Gaye expressed interest in her romantically, she refrained from pursuing it due to her marriage to Tom Hayden at the time.
When asked by journalist Maureen Dowd about Gaye's advances, Fonda humorously mentioned that his attempts did not involve references to his hit song “s**ual Healing,” but she later discovered that he had kept a photo of her on his refrigerator, a revelation that came to light only after his passing.
Throughout the interview, Fonda's anecdotes provided a glimpse into her colorful past
