Hollywood actor Jason Momoa is known for his distinctive scar, which has become an integral part of his identity.
While the details surrounding how he obtained the scar remain unclear and violent, Momoa is grateful for it as it has helped him secure some of his most formidable roles.
In 2011, during an interview with Access Hollywood, the 44-year-old actor revealed the harrowing incident that led to his facial scar.
He explained that he was attacked by a man whom he believes was involved in a gang initiation.
Recounting the incident, Momoa shared that a pint glass was forcefully smashed into his face, resulting in over 140 stitches.
However, he acknowledges that this scar has played a significant role in his ability to portray intimidating characters on screen.
Momoa, who initially lied to land his first acting role on Baywatch: Hawaii, also disclosed that his scar prevents hair from growing along the white line that runs through his eyebrow.
