Jason Segel’s Mom in Tears Over His n^de Scene in ‘Forgetting Sarah Marshall’

In a surprising revelation, Jason Segel overlooked a crucial detail when discussing his role in the 2008 film “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” with his mother.

The 34-year-old actor, who famously appeared fully n^de in a scene from the movie, shared that he had failed to prepare his mother, Jillian Jordan, for the intimate moment, which left her in tears upon seeing it on the big screen.

Recalling her emotional response, Segel mentioned to Vanity Fair that his mother was deeply moved by the scene.

The shock of witnessing her son in such a vulnerable state prompted Jordan to take action by sending out a mass email to alert other family members about the revealing clip.

According to Segel, the email detailed that while he did partake in full-frontal nudity, it was integral to the storyline and not done gratuitously, attempting to provide context for the potentially controversial scene.

Reflecting on the incident, Segel acknowledged the impact it had on his mother, noting that she hasn't felt the need to issue similar warnings for any of his subsequent projects, including his upcoming film “s=x Tape.”

In the new romantic comedy, set to release soon, Segel stars alongside as a married couple caught in a mishap involving an explicit video that goes astray, leading to a series of comedic escapades.

Addressing the nature of filming such intimate scenes, Diaz expressed comfort with the process, emphasizing the importance of humor and a shared mindset when approaching challenging moments on set.

When asked about his willingness to push boundaries, Segel drew from his past experiences, including the memorable n^de scene in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” to illustrate his approach to storytelling and character development.

Exploring themes of unpredictability and defying genre conventions, Segel highlighted the significance of embracing creative risks to keep audiences engaged and entertained throughout the narrative.

Fans can anticipate Segel's return to on-screen n^dty in “s=x Tape,” where he and Diaz navigate the aftermath of a private video gone public, promising a blend of humor and relatable mishaps in their quest to reclaim their privacy.

As the release date for “s=x Tape” approaches on July 18, audiences are poised to witness a fresh comedic venture from the dynamic duo, showcasing their comedic chemistry and flair for tackling unconventional storylines with charm and wit.
