Jennifer Lawrence Injured by Exploding Glass on the Set of Don’t Look Up

Jennifer Lawrence, renowned actress and Academy Award winner, suffered an injury while filming her latest movie, Don't Look Up, on Friday, February 5th.

According to a close source, an explosion was planned as part of a stunt involving shattered glass.

Tragically, Jennifer was struck in the eye by the flying shards.

However, the source assures us that she will recover from this incident.

As a result, production for the film, directed by Adam McKay of Vice fame, was halted for the day, as reported by Page Six.

This highly anticipated end-of-the-world movie also features an all-star cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothée Chalamet, Chris Evans, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Streep, and Ariana Grande.

Don't Look Up follows astronomers as they desperately try to warn humanity about an impending catastrophic comet heading towards Earth.

At this time, it remains unclear who was present on set during the explosion or if any other individuals sustained injuries.

TMZ has reported that the detonation occurred within a restaurant scene.

The outlet even published images of Jennifer and her co-star, Timothée, sharing a kiss in Boston just moments before the explosion takes place.

Prior to the incident, the Hunger Games star was seen on set with her new red hair and bangs, dressed in a fashionable grey plaid coat and black boots appropriate for her character.
