During the premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, Liam Hemsworth openly shared his experience of kissing Jennifer Lawrence on screen and how her tuna and garlic breath made it quite awkward.
Surprisingly, Jennifer Lawrence didn't take too kindly to his revelation.
In a light-hearted response to Liam's comments, Jennifer jokingly expressed her displeasure at him discussing her breath, emphasizing that she wasn't intentionally consuming pungent foods before their kissing scenes in Mockingjay.
Jennifer clarified to Access Hollywood that she never consciously thought, “Let me eat tuna and garlic before kissing Liam!”
It was simply coincidental that she had eaten something with a strong odor.
She humorously pondered whether accidentally eating such foods was worse than doing so on purpose.
Despite the expectation that anyone would freshen their breath before kissing heartthrobs like Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, Jennifer playfully admitted that she didn't bother to brush her teeth before shooting kissing scenes with her co-stars and close friends.
It seemed she reserved that gesture for specific celebrities.
In a jesting manner, Jennifer remarked that she only goes the extra mile with oral hygiene when kissing someone like Christian Bale, or as she put it, a “real star,” as opposed to her fellow actors like Josh and Liam.
Upon Liam and Josh's entrance into the interview, it was evident they were slightly taken aback by Jennifer's remarks.
To mend any hurt feelings, Jennifer extended an apology in her signature humorous style.
The interaction between the trio during the interview was both entertaining and endearing
