Jessica Gomes, the model and actress, recently shared insights into her experience filming Once Upon A Time In Venice, an action comedy where she acts alongside the legendary Bruce Willis of Die Hard fame.
Despite their significant age gap – with Gomes being 32 and Willis being 62 – she acknowledged the stark contrast.
In an interview with the Australian Daily Telegraph, Gomes humorously remarked, “Yes, he's 60, he's my dad's age, so that was pretty full-on.”
Even though the age gap was apparent, Gomes expressed her admiration for working alongside such a respected actor like Willis.
She admitted to feeling star-struck by the opportunity to collaborate with him in the movie.
This project marks another milestone in her transition from modeling to acting, showcasing her versatility as a performer.
In a candid moment, Gomes reminisced about a particularly intense scene with Willis, exclaiming, “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I'm with Bruce Willis right now and we're making out.'” Her excitement at sharing this on-screen moment with the seasoned actor reflects her enthusiasm for the project and the unique experiences it has offered her.
Despite Once Upon A Time In Venice being a significant project for Gomes, it is not her first venture into acting.
Her previous credits include a role in Transformers: Age of Extinction as a KSI Spokesmodel, as well as an appearance in the TV series Chuck back in 2009.
These earlier roles have paved the way for her current involvement in the upcoming film alongside Willis.
Scheduled for release next month, Once Upon A Time In Venice features Willis portraying a Los Angeles detective on a mission to track down the gang responsible for stealing his beloved dog.
The movie promises to deliver a blend of action and comedy, with Gomes contributing to the ensemble cast with her portrayal opposite the iconic Bruce Willis.
