Reports surfaced of Sutherland moving out of their shared Hollywood home, leaving fans bewildered by the sudden end to their engagement right before the wedding.

Many were left disappointed, wondering what caused the split.

As it turns out, Roberts called off the wedding just three days before the scheduled date and fled to Ireland, while Sutherland was in the process of finding a new place to live.

However, she did not embark on this journey alone.

Numerous witnesses spotted Roberts having a lunch date with Jason Patric, who happened to be Sutherland's longtime best friend and co-star in “Lost Boys.”

Naturally, Sutherland was deeply hurt by these events and allegedly referred to Roberts as a “snake” who had merely pretended to be his friend.

Speculation arose that the breakup was due to Sutherland's alleged affair with an exotic dancer named Amanda Rice.

Sutherland vehemently denied the cheating allegations.

Following the breakup, Roberts briefly dated Patric before ultimately parting ways about a year later.

The question remains: Are Sutherland, Roberts, and Patric still friends?

While it remains unknown if Roberts and Sutherland are on friendly terms, there seems to be no animosity between them.

In 2000, she crossed paths with Danny Moder, who was married at the time.

They began dating in 2001 and tied the knot the following year.

Twenty years later, they are still happily married with three children.

As for Sutherland, he started dating model Cindy Vela in 2014, and they remain together to this day.
