In yet another controversial statement, Katie Hopkins is causing a stir by declaring that she will not apologize for being involved with a married man.
The former Apprentice star has managed to anger many with her bold and unapologetic stance on the matter.
As it turns out, Katie was engaged in a secret relationship with her now-husband, Mark Cross, while he was still married to Ruth.
The affair remained hidden until they were unexpectedly discovered engaging in intimate activities in a field – quite a classy revelation, indeed.
Expressing her sentiments in her column for Now magazine, Katie boldly stated that she has no intention of apologizing for being the other woman.
She wrote, “I don’t apologize for stealing my husband Mark from his wife.
Our affair was exhilarating, our time together has been a hoot, and we’re happy.”
To add fuel to the fire, it seems that this is not the first time Katie has been involved with a married man.
In her column, she admits, “If you aren’t happy with your partner, an affair can be liberating.
In my first affair with a married man, I offered him the opposite of the life he had with his wife.
I was young, carefree, childless, and spontaneous.
I didn’t want to discuss mortgages, gas bills, or dry rot in the loft.
I just wanted to have fun.
In my life, I’d much rather regret something I’ve done than regret not doing it.
For me, the decision to cheat or not to cheat simply depends on how much you have to lose.”
However, it’s worth noting that Katie did not take kindly to being cheated on herself.
She expressed her frustration, saying, “Being cheated on is different.
My ex-husband betrayed me with a woman he worked with.
From his perspective, she was younger and had physical attributes that I didn’t possess.
I discovered the affair when I stopped being a trusting wife and became more suspicious.
Late dinners, weekend getaways, and strange late-night phone calls all raised my suspicions.
I was furious to learn that I had been cheated on and even angrier that nobody had informed me.
How dare he choose her over me!”
On a positive note, Katie claims that her days of infidelity are behind her.
She admitted, “I would never cheat on my husband today.
There is too much at stake.
Once you have a family, you can no longer think like a single person.
You have too many little hearts to care for.
I couldn’t face my children if I had let them down in this way.
The price would be far too high.”
While we can hope that this marks the end of Katie’s controversial comments, it is unlikely.
Her tendency to make explosive statements seems to be an ongoing pattern.
Only time will tell what she says next.
