Katie Hopkins is celebrating her remarkable transformation from a size 18 to a size 8 within a few months.
Notably, her husband is equally thrilled with the change in his now slim wife.
The star made headlines by revealing that as part of an experiment for a new television show airing Friday, she prohibited her partner from engaging in s–ual activity after gaining weight.
In a drastic shift, Katie's weight surged from 8st 12lb to 11st 13lb and then swiftly plummeted back down to showcase how effortless it can be to get in shape.
During her heavier phase, the 39-year-old refrained from being intimate with her husband Mark Cross, believing that overweight individuals lack attractiveness.
Expressing her thoughts to The Sun, Katie confessed, “After I gained my first stone, I ceased having intimate relations with my husband.
As a plus-sized individual, I only wore pajamas and avoided exposing myself in the dark.
A protruding belly isn't appealing, and fat people aren't perceived as s**y.”
Last year, Katie sparked controversy by stating on This Morning that she wouldn't hire an obese woman due to the perception of laziness associated with overweight individuals.
However, she aimed to substantiate her stance through her latest endeavor by intentionally gaining and shedding 3st for a documentary to illustrate that losing weight is more about unwillingness than inability.
The weight gain took a heavy toll on Katie emotionally, leading her to tears frequently, especially when confronted with her larger reflection in the mirror.
She admitted to The Sun that the experience of gaining 3st was emotionally agonizing, causing her to shed tears, unlike any other significant life event in recent memory.
Formerly maintaining a slender size eight at 8st 12lb and 5ft 7in, Katie embarked on a diet consuming a staggering 6,500 calories daily to pack on nearly 3st.
Despite her high-calorie intake, her naturally speedy metabolism hindered her weight gain progress.
To facilitate her final weight increase, she enlisted the help of ex-army personal trainer Christian, who devised an intensive eating regimen termed ‘circuit eating.'
Christian's method involved segregating a table into four sections, each containing different high-calorie foods that Katie had to consume in turns to maximize calorie intake.
This routine had to be repeated every two hours akin to exercise circuits to achieve the desired weight gain.
Following her weight gain to 11st 13lb, with a 38in waist and a BMI of 26, the documentary ‘Katie Hopkins: My Fat Story' on TLC documents her journey as she sheds the excess weight through disciplined dietary choices and rigorous exercise routines.
Katie's transformation journey showcases her raw, unfiltered moments devoid of the usual glamour associated with her public persona.
Through a strategic cutback to a mere 1,500 calories a day and a rigorous exercise regime involving a substantial increase in daily steps and regular hour-long runs, Katie successfully dropped to 9st 12lb in just three months.
Post-documentary, she continued her weight loss journey, shedding an additional 6lb.
In her reflective video diary entries during the filming of the program, Katie candidly shared her strong opinions on the challenges faced by overweight individuals.
Despite her personal struggles, Katie maintains her tough stance on not employing overweight individuals, emphasizing the challenges and unhappiness associated with being overweight.
Katie's weight fluctuation journey has not only brought her a newfound understanding of weight-related issues but has also reinforced her unwavering convictions on the topic.
Her outspoken nature continues to resonate through her social media presence, where she defends her views on obesity while advocating for accountability in addressing weight problems.
