Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie, known for their roles in “The Wolf of Wall Street,” have reunited in Quentin Tarantino's latest film, “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.”
In an interview with The Sunday Project, DiCaprio shared the exact moment when he realized Robbie was destined for stardom.
During Robbie's audition for the role of Naomi Lapaglia, she famously improvised a slap across DiCaprio's face, earning her the part and impressing everyone present.
Despite the unexpected “whack,” the duo developed a strong friendship during filming.
Now, they find themselves working together once again.
DiCaprio reminisced about the scene in “The Wolf of Wall Street” where Robbie's character throws a glass of water at him.
It was during this scene that he recognized Robbie's incredible talent.
“On ‘Wolf of Wall Street,' seeing Margot come in and read that scene with me, I just knew I was witnessing a dynamic presence in cinema that was about to be,” he revealed.
Both DiCaprio and director Martin Scorcese were amazed by Robbie's performance and immediately realized she was destined for an extraordinary career.
Robbie also expressed her excitement about working with DiCaprio again, stating, “I couldn't believe it happened the first time.
Then when I went to work with Leo again, it was kind of ridiculous.”
However, in their latest collaboration, “Once Upon A Time…
In Hollywood,” the pair didn't share as many scenes together.
“I'm more like a presence as opposed to someone throwing water in your face constantly,” Robbie
