“Lights, Camera, Surprise!”: Margot Robbie Leaves Leonardo DiCaprio Astonished on Martin Scorsese’s Set

From her humble beginnings in 2008 to starring in Greta Gerwig's Barbie, has risen to great heights in the world of entertainment.

With each project, she has showcased her exceptional talent, taking on diverse roles and captivating audiences with her range of emotions.

One of her breakthrough performances came in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street.

In the film, Robbie played the role of Naomi Lapaglia, captivating viewers not only with her striking appearance but also with her confident portrayal, layered complexity, and commanding presence.

However, what made the movie even more intriguing was the unexpected improvisations that surprised both and Martin Scorsese.

During the filming of intimate scenes, surprised her co-star DiCaprio by physically moving him out of her way.

In an interview with Manhattan Magazine, Robbie shared that while shooting one particular scene, she pushed DiCaprio's head aside, telling him he was blocking her light.

This unexpected move left DiCaprio shocked but amused, as no one had dared to assert their light-blocking rights in quite some time.

The Wolf of Wall Street, released in 2013, was a major box office success, earning $389.8 million worldwide along with $40 million in DVD sales.

The film received critical acclaim and garnered numerous awards and nominations.

Aside from surprising DiCaprio on set, Margot Robbie also had an interesting experience while working on Suicide Squad.

Like many celebrities, Robbie decided to take a memorable item from the set, choosing a tattoo gun due to her passion for tattoos.

She came up with the idea of creating matching tattoos for the entire cast and crew.

Initially, Robbie had to convince people to participate, but soon it became a popular trend.

However, disaster struck when she misspelled the word ‘Skwad' while tattooing the cast.

Instead, she wrote ‘Swad,' causing distress among those who received the miswritten tattoo.

Some even sought help from to fix the mistake.

The Wolf of Wall Street is available for streaming on Paramount+.

It continues to entertain audiences with its captivating performances and compelling storyline.
