During the shooting of the movie, the 26-year-old actress was supposed to share three kisses with the Anger Management star in a bedroom scene.

Insiders claim that Charlie, who once lived with two women he referred to as his ‘goddesses', including a model and a p^rn star, respected Lindsay's decision and did not raise any objections or ill feelings towards her reluctance to kiss him.

Despite the initial tension surrounding the kissing scene, Lindsay and Charlie developed a friendship off-screen.

In a generous gesture, Charlie offered Lindsay financial support by giving her $100,000 to aid in paying off a substantial tax debt totaling $233,904.

Subsequently, Charlie expressed discontent over not receiving gratitude from his co-star for his assistance.

However, Lindsay later extended an apology to Charlie by sending him flowers and a handwritten letter last week.
