Australian actress Margot Robbie recently shared a surprising detail about filming a s** scene with Leonardo DiCaprio for the movie “Wolf of Wall Street.”
In an interview with Manhattan Magazine, Robbie revealed that she “shocked” her co-star by pushing him out of the way during shooting because he was blocking her light.
The 23-year-old actress, who plays Naomi Lapaglia in the film, described the incident as “kind of funny.”
During the interview, Robbie also mentioned that she was not the only one to have intimate scenes with DiCaprio.
Actress and comedian Tracie Jayne had the task of giving him a lap dance.
However, she joked that her efforts failed to arouse him, suggesting he may have been preoccupied with other thoughts.
Despite her assertive behavior on set, Robbie admitted that working with DiCaprio was a challenge.
She stated that the experience pushed her acting skills to a new level, describing it as a dream come true.
Robbie expressed admiration for both DiCaprio and director Martin Scorcese, saying they have an unstoppable presence and incredible dimension.
In addition to discussing her role in “Wolf of Wall Street,” Robbie expressed her desire to break away from being typecast as a blonde bombshell.
She revealed that she wants to star in a Western film, portraying a character who rides horses and engages in physically demanding activities.
Robbie emphasized her eagerness to take on roles that require training and allow her to showcase her versatility.
“Wolf of Wall Street” is based on Jordan Belfort's memoir of the same name, with DiCaprio playing the lead role.
The film, categorized as a black comedy, revolves around Belfort's involvement in a securities fraud case and the corruption within Wall Street and corporate banking.
It has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards.
