Margot Robbie Terrifies Babysitter with Elaborate Death Prank

Actress and producer Margot Robbie recently revealed a childhood story about how she once faked her own death to scare a babysitter she didn't like.

Robbie, known for her acting skills and love of pranks, previously had her co-stars wear pink on set as a playful joke related to her upcoming movie ‘Barbie'.

During an appearance on BBC Radio 2's ‘The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show' with co-star Ryan Gosling, Robbie shared a clip on her Instagram account recounting the prank.

She explained, “We had a new babysitter and I wanted my old babysitter back, Talia, who was around 16 and I thought she was really cool.”

Unhappy with the replacement babysitter, Robbie decided to take matters into her own hands.

“She told me to take a bath, but I didn't want to,” Robbie said.

“She was very grumpy, so I thought, ‘I'll show you.'”

Robbie proceeded to grab a large kitchen knife and a bottle of ketchup.

She then undressed, covered herself in ketchup, and lay n^ked on the bathroom floor with the knife nearby, waiting for the babysitter to discover her macabre scene.

After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, Robbie's plan finally came to fruition.

When asked if the babysitter ran away screaming, Robbie enthusiastically replied, “Oh yeah!”

Ryan Gosling chimed in, jokingly commenting on Robbie's self-produced death.

Robbie smiled and confirmed, “Yes, I did.”

Currently, Robbie is immersed in a promotional tour for her latest film, ‘Barbie', which premiered on July 21.

To generate buzz, she, along with her co-stars and director Greta Gerwig, has gone all out with their promotional efforts.

This strategic move is particularly noteworthy considering that ‘Barbie' is competing with Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated biopic ‘Oppenheimer', which also released on the same day.

Social media users have dubbed this clash of films as ‘Barbenheimer', and the battle between the two movies has officially begun
