Margot Robbie’s Painful Experience Filming Wolf of Wall Street s** Scene

Margot Robbie, known for her role in the steamy scene with Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street, recently revealed that she endured numerous cuts during the filming process.

Contrary to popular belief, the injuries were not a result of excessive enthusiasm on her part.

Instead, Robbie explained that she sustained these wounds while lying on a bed covered in fake money.

In the film, Robbie portrayed Naomi Lapaglia, the money-driven second wife of stockbroker Jordan Belfort, played by DiCaprio.

Directed by Martin Scorsese, The Wolf of Wall Street propelled Robbie into the spotlight nearly a decade ago.

During the shoot, the cast and crew became concerned about Robbie's well-being.

At the time, she was just 23 years old.

Robbie recounted her experience to The Daily Beast, stating, “I got a million paper cuts on my back from all that money!

It's not as glamorous as it sounds.

If anyone is ever planning on having s** on top of a pile of cash: don't.”

Robbie jokingly expressed a wish for real money to have been used instead.

She explained, “Maybe real money is a bit softer, but the fake money is like paper, and when I got up off the bed, I turned around to get my robe and everyone gasped.

I said: ‘What is it?'

And they said: ‘You look like you've been whipped a million times.

Your back is covered in a thousand red scratches.'”

Despite the discomfort, the producer offered to modify the s** scene to alleviate Robbie's pain.

However, she refused to compromise the authenticity of the scene for the viewers.

Robbie asserted, “I think n^dty for the sake of n^dty is shameful…

Seeing someone being choreographed into being covered up irritates me just as much.”

She believed that staying true to her character, whose body served as her only form of currency, required her to be fully exposed in the scene.

While committed to her role, Robbie admitted that filming the s** scene was challenging and embarrassing.

In an interview with Porter magazine in 2018, she stated, “It doesn't come across when you're watching the movie, but in reality, we're in a tiny bedroom with 30 crew crammed in.
