Monica Lewinsky Reveals Intimate Details of Her Relationship with Bill Clinton in New Documentary

In the upcoming documentary series titled “The Clinton Affair,” Monica Lewinsky discloses fresh insights into her “flirtatious encounters” with former President Bill Clinton, which occurred two decades ago and were at the center of a scandal that captivated the nation.

Reflecting on the initial encounter, Lewinsky, who was a White House intern at the time of the affair, admits, “I didn't comprehend it until I was truly in his presence.

Looking back, I have to chuckle at my younger self, but that was when my infatuation began.”

In another revealing moment, Lewinsky shares that during their encounters, Clinton would give her what she calls “The Full Bill Clinton,” making her feel as though she were the only person in the room.

She goes on to describe meaningful gifts he bestowed upon her, including a hat pin and a collection of Walt Whitman's poetry entitled “Leaves of Grass.”

Lewinsky further discloses that throughout her time in the White House, she went to great lengths to capture the former president's attention.

She recounts a particular incident where she hurried home during her lunch break and put on the same sage green suit she had worn the day before when he noticed her.

Her hope was that he would notice her once again, and indeed, he did.

Following this, Lewinsky reveals that she and Clinton engaged in “a number of these flirtatious encounters” over several months.

Filmmaker Blair Foster, who directed the three-night documentary series, explains that while the project delves into all the scandals that rocked the Clinton administration, Lewinsky undoubtedly takes center stage.

Foster further explains that Lewinsky's openness and honesty in the documentary stem from her perspective as an adult, highlighting that at the time of the affair, she was only 22 years old.

Foster believes that many viewers will be able to relate to the complexities of love and romance during their early twenties.

Since the scandal, Lewinsky has transformed into an activist, actively advocating against cyberbullying.
