“Pimp to the Stars” Reveals Intimate Details with Cary Grant and Randolph Scott

In the upcoming documentary titled “Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood,” Scotty Bowers, known as the “pimp to the stars” in the Golden Age of Hollywood, shares daring anecdotes about his encounters with actors and Randolph Scott.

Directed by Matt Tyrnauer, the film provides an exclusive glimpse into Bowers' provocative revelations.

The documentary chronicles Bowers' unconventional life, from his past as a s-* worker to his operation of a brothel within a gas station, where he unravels numerous alleged secrets about serving as an escort to closeted homosexual celebrities.

Based on Bowers' memoir entitled “Full Service: My Adventures in Hollywood and the Secret s-* Lives of the Stars,” which was published in 2012, Tyrnauer embarked on creating the documentary to delve deeper into Bowers' intriguing narrative.

During one scene in the documentary, Bowers vividly recounts his supposed interactions with iconic figures Grant and Scott, who resided together in a residence near the Santa Monica beach.

Despite presenting themselves as roommates, Bowers suggests they were romantically involved.

A brief footage from the 1940 film “My Favorite Wife” captures Grant casting longing glances at Scott as he takes a dip in the pool.

Reflecting on the past, Bowers asserts, “People back then knew they were a couple, and throughout the years, they would deny it.

Then later on, they would question why I spoke about them that way.

I clarified that I was praising them as great individuals.”

Now aged 95, Bowers further discloses the nature of his relationships with the two stars, mentioning instances of individual encounters, threesomes, and even arranging for other companions to join them, forming groups of four.

In the documentary, Bowers makes additional scandalous claims regarding undisclosed homosexual celebrities, justifying his decision to reveal these secrets now that many of the subjects have passed away.

Furthermore, he alleges that he engaged in intimate relations with Spencer Tracy and , as well as facilitating liaisons between various stars like Tennessee Williams, , and Rock Hudson with professional companions.

“Scotty and the Secret History of Hollywood” is set to premiere on July 27 at the Arclight Hollywood in Los Angeles and on August 3 at the IFC Center in New York, offering viewers a candid look into the hidden facets of Hollywood's past.
