**Queen Camilla Bows Out of Gladiator II Premiere as She Resumes Duties Post-Illness**

Queen is making her way back into the public eye, yet she will be absent from a much-anticipated film premiere with King Charles.

The 77-year-old monarch has been recovering from a seasonal chest infection and recently returned to London on November 12 to engage with the finalists of the Booker Prize.

Despite her return to work, Buckingham Palace announced that she would not accompany King Charles to the red carpet event for *Gladiator II* on November 13.

Sources indicate this decision was made as a precautionary measure, allowing her to ease back into her royal responsibilities without overexerting herself.

They expressed optimism about her return to public engagements early next week.

On November 12, Queen Camilla hosted a reception at Clarence House, where she met with the Booker Prize finalists.

Though the event was slightly shortened to accommodate her recovery, her passion for literature shone through as she engaged with the authors and posed for a group photo.

The following day, she is expected to be present alongside King Charles at a Buckingham Palace reception aimed at supporting the British film industry.

There, they will meet a variety of notable figures, including directors, actors, and costume designers, as part of the centenary celebrations for the Film and TV Charity.

The reception promises to showcase an array of costumes and memorabilia from iconic films such as *Titanic* and *Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World*, along with a beloved costume worn by the late Maggie Smith from *Evil Under The Sun*.

Musical performances from The Countess of Wessex String Orchestra will also add to the evening's festivities.

While King Charles attended the National Service of Remembrance solo on November 10, he will once again take the spotlight alone at the *Gladiator II* premiere.

Originally, Camilla was slated to join him for this high-profile event in Leicester Square.

Though her recent ailment raised some eyebrows, it has not been deemed serious.

Royal doctors have simply suggested a more manageable approach to her schedule as she recovers, leading to some practical adjustments to her engagements this week.

As Queen Camilla navigates her way back to royal duties, there's hope that the adjustments made will allow her to rejoin her husband and fulfill her commitments while prioritizing her health.

The continues to support her gentle transition back into the public sphere, emphasizing the importance of health first amid the demands of royal life.
