Robin Williams’ Heartbreaking Final Days Unveiled

In the lead-up to his tragic passing, , the renowned 63-year-old actor, grappled with the torment of a degenerative brain disease, as disclosed by insiders.

During the filming of Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Williams experienced profound emotional turmoil, often breaking down in tears while struggling to recapture his comedic prowess behind the scenes.

Cheri Minns, a makeup artist who worked closely with Williams, recounted the distressing moments she shared with him, revealing that he would frequently weep in her embrace at the close of each day.

She delved into the harrowing experience in Dave Itzkoff's highly-anticipated biography, Robin.

Minns confessed to seeking guidance online on how to assist someone dealing with paranoia to avoid inadvertently aggravating Williams' fragile state.

She expressed her limitations, stating, “I'm a makeup artist.

I lack the expertise to handle his distress.”

In a poignant attempt to motivate the star to return to stand-up comedy and rediscover his confidence, Minns recalled Williams' heartbreaking response, “I can't, Cheri.

I don't know how anymore.

I don't know how to be funny.”

The revelations contained in a controversial new book shed light on the private health struggles that plagued Williams before his untimely death by suicide in August 2014.

Beside grappling with severe memory lapses that impeded his performance, Williams exhibited a myriad of distressing symptoms including insomnia, heartburn, indigestion, anosmia, and difficulty with urination.

Initially diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2014, posthumous examination revealed that Williams was actually battling Lewy body disease, a debilitating, progressive condition leading to dementia and impaired motor skills.

Susan Schneider, Williams' wife, lamented the relentless onslaught of symptoms, likening it to a game of uncertainty where new challenges emerged incessantly without respite, leaving them grasping for solutions.

In a poignant account for the medical journal Neurology, Schneider depicted the gradual decline of her once vibrant husband, observing his struggle with mobility, speech difficulties, and cognitive impairment, marked by episodes of disorientation and frustration.

The toll of Williams' deteriorating health culminated in a profound loss of basic reasoning, exacerbating his confusion and further isolating him from the world he once illuminated with his comedic genius.
