Rod Stewart, the legendary singer-songwriter, has vehemently denied a decades-old rumor that he had his stomach pumped after a wild night with a group of gay male sailors in San Diego.
In an interview with Katie Couric, Stewart addressed the X-rated story that has been circulating since the 1980s.
According to Stewart, the rumor was started by a former gay publicist who sought revenge after being fired for committing a terrible act, which Stewart chose not to disclose.
The false rumor caused immense distress for Stewart, especially since it affected his children who were attending school at the time.
Stewart clarified, “That is definitely not true.”
In his new autobiography, “Rod: The Autobiography,” Stewart further delves into the story, stating unequivocally, “I have never orally pleasured even a solitary sailor, let alone a ship's worth in one evening.
And I have never had my stomach pumped, either of naval-issue semen or of any other kind of semen.”
Throughout the interview, Stewart emphasized his heterosexuality, asserting that he is “as heterosexual as they come.”
This statement aims to debunk any misconceptions or false assumptions about his s**ual preferences.
