Kate Middleton, accompanied by her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, was recently spotted driving around Windsor.
The family, along with Prince William, has made a significant move from Kensington Palace to their new residence, Adelaide Cottage.
This decision was influenced in part by the children's enrollment at Lambrook, a private school near Ascot in Berkshire, following their departure from St Thomas school in Battersea.
The relocation to Adelaide Cottage, which is closer to Windsor Castle, where Queen Elizabeth is recuperating from recent mobility issues, was deemed necessary for the children to settle in before commencing their new school term next week, as per sources close to the Royal family.
Unlike the lavish renovations often associated with royal residences, the changes made to Adelaide Cottage were described as modest, reflecting the parents' desire to provide their children with a more ordinary upbringing away from the public eye.
The decision to move away from Kensington Palace was driven by the couple's wish to offer Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis a sense of freedom not easily attainable in the bustling heart of London.
While Kensington Palace remains the official residence for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, they also spend time at their expansive Anmer Hall, a ten-bedroom estate located in Norfolk.
In a separate royal development, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan made a return to the UK over the weekend, marking their first visit since the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
However, noticeably absent were their children, Archie and Lilibet, during this trip.
A spokesperson representing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared with Hello!
Magazine that the couple is excited to engage with various charitable organizations that hold special significance for them in early September.
