Royal Family’s Heartfelt Return to U.S. Amidst Tragic Loss

Meghan and Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are making their way back to the United States to reunite with their young children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1.

Following a charity tour in the UK, the couple decided to extend their stay after the Queen's passing, leaving them separated from their children for over three weeks.

The couple, who spent a night at Windsor's Frogmore Cottage, are now eager to return to their California home as soon as possible.

Their visit to the UK was primarily to mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, where , 38, and Meghan, 41, engaged in charitable activities.

Despite their plans to attend the Wellchild Awards in London, Harry received distressing news about the Queen's sudden trip to Balmoral in Scotland, while Meghan remained in London.

Unfortunately, Harry missed the chance to bid his grandmother a final farewell before her passing.

During a poignant service, Meghan shed a tear as she and Harry joined other royals in paying their respects to the late Queen.

Meanwhile, Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, cared for Archie and Lilibet in their absence, with the children last seen by their parents nearly three weeks ago.

The Sussexes' recent activities included meeting with injured service members and Invictus Games organizers in Dusseldorf, utilizing a leased German plane funded by taxpayers.

Meghan had previously delivered a speech at the Summit for Young Leaders in Manchester, which garnered attention due to her numerous references to herself, sparking controversy.

Following the Queen's passing, the embarked on a series of events across her four home countries, culminating in a grand state funeral.

The procession, attended by hundreds of thousands of mourners, showcased the Queen's casket draped in the royal standard, carrying symbols of her reign through central London.

Ultimately, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were laid to rest after a solemn service at St George's Chapel, where they were interred alongside other members.

Amidst the mourning and ceremonial proceedings, speculations arise about King Charles III's future activities, with rumored to encourage him to adopt a new hobby to alleviate the pressures of royal responsibilities.

Renowned author and royal expert Angela Levin suggests that the Queen Consort may play a pivotal role in guiding the next king towards moments of respite from his demanding duties.
