Salma Hayek Suspects Husband of Cheating After Hearing “s**y Voice” on Language Learning App

Mexican-American actress recently revealed that she mistakenly believed her husband, French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, was having an affair after hearing a seductive voice on his phone.

Hayek shared the story during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, explaining how she became suspicious when she came across a message with a woman's voice on her husband's device.

Although she trusts her husband, Hayek couldn't help but feel alarmed by the message, which said, “Hi, if you want to improve your English why don't we practice now.”

She recalled thinking, “What the hell?

Who is this Elisa coming after my husband?”

However, after some contemplation, she decided to let it go.

But three hours later, Hayek couldn't contain her curiosity any longer and confronted her husband, demanding to know who Elisa was and why she was contacting him.

Much to her surprise, Pinault burst into laughter and explained that Elisa was actually an app he was using to enhance his English accent.

Hayek, 50, and Pinault, 54, tied the knot in 2009 and share a daughter together.

Currently promoting her new film Beatriz At Dinner, which tackles issues of immigration and racism, Hayek reflected on the timeliness of its storyline.

She mentioned that the film was shot before Donald Trump became president, but it eerily mirrors the current political climate.

Speaking about her encounter with Trump, Hayek described him as a “strange man” and expressed her amusement at the sight of a Donald Trump pinata being destroyed just days after his election.

She also jokingly commented on her own heritage, saying, “Imagine how I feel – I am a Mexican Arab!”

During the same episode of The Graham Norton Show, former One Direction member Liam Payne shared a story about how he and his bandmates were asked to leave Trump's hotel after declining to meet his daughter due to safety concerns caused by their fans.

Hayek and Payne joined comedian David Walliams, as well as actors Ed Westwick and James Buckley, on Norton's talk show.
