Samuel L. Jackson Claps Back at Controversy Surrounding ‘Gay Shaming’ Tweet Directed at Trump

However, the outcome of this backlash wasn't quite what his detractors had anticipated.

On the occasion of Trump's 72nd birthday last Thursday, the A-list actor took to Twitter and shared a tweet featuring a product called “After d–k Mints.”

Happy Birthday.”

To emphasize his point, Jackson chose to conclude his tweet with the clown and poop emoji, adding a touch of drama to the message.

In response to his tweet, several prominent celebrities voiced their opinions, with Adam Baldwin being among the first to express his outrage, labeling the words as “gay shaming.”

However, shortly after facing backlash, the tweet was reportedly removed from Jackson's account, as reported by Page Six.

Known for his ability to take such criticism lightly, Jackson turned to Instagram on Sunday to address the hate, making it abundantly clear that he remained unfazed.

The Instagram post consisted of a screenshot of a notice received from Twitter regarding the complaints.

The notice stated, “We have investigated the reported content and could not identify any violations of the Twitter rules or applicable law.

Accordingly, we have not taken any action at this time.”
