Shania Twain, the renowned country singer, recently shared a rather amusing and embarrassing incident that occurred during one of her performances.
In an interview on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen,” the 53-year-old artist confessed that she had accidentally urinated on stage.
Describing the situation, Twain humorously stated, “I was very clever in this one moment.
I stood up from my chair to get up and sing.
I peed myself, and the puddle, I just knocked my glass of water over.”
Fortunately, her wardrobe remained unaffected by the mishap.
“I was wearing a skirt, thank goodness,” she admitted.
“I stood up, it all came out, I was dry.”
This isn't the first time Twain has experienced such bathroom-related incidents.
She also recalled an incident where she found herself locked out of her hotel room in Rome, n^ked, while searching for the bathroom.
“I get out of bed.
I went to bed n^ked that night, and I had to go for a pee and I opened up the wrong door and I ended up in the hallway,” she shared.
Apart from her own anecdotes, Twain also commented on Taylor Swift's recent foray into politics, which garnered backlash.
The Canadian singer, who previously faced criticism for expressing her support for President Donald Trump, advised artists to carefully consider the consequences of delving into political matters.
“This is a very personal thing.
As an artist who is not a politician, if you make a decision to cross that line and speak out about politics, do it at your own risk,” she remarked with laughter.
Twain also spoke fondly of her unexpected friendships with fellow music stars Nicki Minaj and Harry Styles.
At Coachella, she had the opportunity to meet Minaj and even posed for a memorable photo with the rapper and other celebrities.
“She was so lovely.
First of all, I'm a big fan of hers, a huge fan of Nicki Minaj,” Twain shared.
“I told her I love her singing voice.
She was very humble and just said, ‘Oh, you know, I'm not really a singer,' and I said, ‘What!
I love your singing voice.'”
Regarding Styles, who considers Twain one of his fashion inspirations, she expressed her admiration for the young singer.
“We have met.
I love him.
He's such a cutie!
He's an incredible singer.
He's a wonderful talent, and I want to work with him, so…” she teased.
