Sharon Stone Reveals Producer Who Allegedly Pressured Her to Sleep with Billy Baldwin for Better Performance

, now 66 years old, has disclosed the identity of the late producer she claims suggested that she should engage in a physical relationship with her Sliver co-star Billy Baldwin to enhance their on-screen chemistry.

This revelation was first mentioned in her 2021 memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, where she initially withheld the producer's name.

However, during a recent episode of the Louis Theroux Podcast, Stone identified the late Robert Evans as the producer in question.

Robert Evans, renowned for his contributions to films like Rosemary's Baby and The Godfather, passed away in 2019 at the age of 89 due to natural causes.

Recounting the incident, Stone recalled being advised by Evans to meet him in his office instead of being on set to discuss her chemistry with Baldwin, who is now 61 years old.

In a surprising turn of events, Evans allegedly implied that if Stone slept with Baldwin, it would improve his performance in the film.

According to Stone, Evans justified his suggestion by sharing stories about his own experiences, mentioning that sleeping with had positively impacted his work.

Stone further elaborated that Evans believed her uptight demeanor was hindering the movie's success and that by engaging in a physical relationship with Baldwin, their on-screen chemistry would improve, ultimately salvaging the film.

She expressed her frustration at being labeled as the issue due to her perceived rigidity, questioning her ability to act authentically.

The Independent has reached out to Baldwin's representative for a response regarding these allegations.

In the 1993 mystery thriller Sliver, Stone portrayed Carly, a book editor who becomes romantically involved with Baldwin's character, the prime suspect in a series of murders that occur within their luxury apartment building.

Stone has been actively involved in Hollywood's #MeToo movement, using her platform to share personal encounters and shed light on instances of misconduct.

In a previous instance, Stone recounted an unsettling encounter with an unnamed Sony executive who exposed himself to her during a meeting.

Describing the distressing incident on Kelly Ripa's Let's Talk Off Camera podcast, Stone revealed the executive's inappropriate behavior and emphasized the prevalence of such experiences in her career.

She chose not to disclose specific names in her book, citing the futility of doing so given the industry's awareness of such individuals.
