Sharon Tate’s Heartbreaking Pleas for her Unborn Child’s Life and Her Mother

Sharon Tate, known for her role as Freya in The Wrecking Crew, was tragically murdered while pregnant with her husband Roman Polanski's child.

On her last day alive, Tate had an argument with Polanski about his delayed return home from London.

Despite this, she expressed her excitement about becoming a mother during lunch with friends at Polanski's estate in Los Angeles.

Later that evening, Tate spent time with celebrity hairstylist Jay Sebring, Wojciech Frykowski, and Abigail Folger.

It was described as a serene night, so quiet that the sound of ice rattling in cocktail shakers could almost be heard in the surrounding homes.

However, the tranquility would soon be shattered on 10050 Cielo Drive.

Cult leader Charles Manson allegedly ordered his loyal follower, Charles “Tex” Watson, to gruesomely kill everyone in the luxury house.

This order came after a music business deal with the previous owners of the house went sour.

In the early hours of August 9, 1969, Watson and other members of the Manson Family arrived at the house.

Their first victim was Steven Parent, who was leaving after trying to sell a radio to the caretaker of the Tate residence.

Parent pleaded for his life, promising not to say anything, but Watson fatally shot him.

The Manson followers then turned their attention to the four individuals inside the house.

According to Watson's testimony, the victims were terrified, running around in panic.

Sebring tried to protect Tate but was shot and stabbed seven times.

Frykowski, who was asleep when the gang entered, was kicked in the head by Watson.

When asked what he was doing, Watson replied, “I am the Devil and I'm here to do the Devil's business.”

Tate, already tied up by her neck with Sebring, pleaded for her life and the life of her unborn child.

She offered herself as a hostage, begging the Manson family to spare her long enough to give birth.

Atkins, who had joined Manson's cult in 1967, showed unwavering commitment to him.

She callously replied to Tate's plea, saying, “Look, b**ch, you might as well face it right now, you're going to die, and I don't feel a thing behind it.”

Charles Manson was later convicted of multiple counts of murder, including Tate's.

He died in November 2017 after spending 40 years in prison.

The merciless killers did not spare Tate or her unborn baby boy.

As Watson repeatedly stabbed her 16 times, Atkins held her down while Tate cried out for her mother.

Both she and her baby did not survive the brutal attack.

Atkins also admitted to stabbing Frykowski and writing “pig” on Polanski's front door in Tate's blood.

Tate's friends, Sebring and Folger, were also savagely murdered.

Folger managed to escape briefly but was eventually caught and stabbed by Patricia Krenwinkel.

Watson then stabbed Folger 28 times.

Frykowski, who had been tied up, managed to free himself but was attacked by Atkins, who stabbed his legs repeatedly.

Despite his valiant struggle and attempts to escape, Frykowski was stabbed a staggering 51 times.

Tate's mutilated body was discovered with the tie still around her neck.

Filmmaker Roman Polanski was deeply affected by the tragedy, stating that he would never fully recover from his late wife's murder.

In his book Sharon Tate Recollection, released to commemorate the 45th anniversary of her death, he wrote about how he cannot enjoy simple pleasures without thinking about how much she would have loved them.
