The Hollywood actor didn’t hold back as he shared close-up images of his manhood, a request that initially startled his team but ultimately paved the way for him to star in the provocative movie, which features numerous intimate scenes.
During a video interview conducted by Zentropa Productions for the film, Shia humorously recounted the unusual request, recalling the initial shock among his associates when asked for photographs of his private parts.
“The first info we got – and I’ll never forget this because my entire team reacted with such fear – the first request from the production end, not Lars, was for pictures of my p-nis,” he shared candidly.
In his quest to impress Lars Von Trier and secure his place in the cast alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg and Stellan Skarsgard in this daring portrayal of a woman’s sensual journey through life, Shia displayed a fearless attitude.
He swiftly responded to the unusual request with alacrity, which seemed to have resonated well with the director and the team.
Describing the sequence of events, Shia revealed Lars’ reaction, “Lars goes, ‘Send him the letter.
The letter was, ‘Are you game?’
I guess the first test was, ‘Let’s time how long it takes this motherfuckerr to send his d–k over the Internet.'”
