Sienna Miller Left Emotional After Filming Lengthy Love Scene with Ben Affleck

Actress Sienna Miller found herself deeply moved and emotional after spending a grueling nine hours filming a passionate s=x scene alongside the handsome actor Ben Affleck.

Their collaboration in the 1920s crime drama “Live By Night” back in 2017 involved their characters engaging in intimate encounters both in cars and bars.

Sienna portrayed Emma, an Irish mistress entangled with a Boston gangster, while Ben took on the role of Joe Coughlin, the son of a policeman who falls for her charms.

Despite the steamy nature of the scenes, Sienna confessed to experiencing moments where she had to excuse herself from the set, although she emphasized that any discomfort was alleviated by the close bond she shared with Ben.

She revealed to E!

News, “Ben and I are like siblings, thankfully, so there was no awkwardness whatsoever.”

She further explained, “There were just lots of silly giggles.

He's incredibly professional – which I am not, but he is.

In that setting, it was an interesting scene.

The script mentioned a montage of us being intimate everywhere: in the car, in the bar…

I remember thinking, ‘That's an entire day dedicated to love scenes!

How do we manage this?'”

Reflecting on the challenging shoot, Sienna disclosed, “By the time nine hours had passed, I was trembling with tears streaming down my face.

I can't fully describe the experience, but you have to find humor in it.

Ben remained composed throughout.

It is what it is.”

Sienna acknowledged the likelihood of outtakes existing from the moments when she had to take breaks due to being overwhelmed with emotions.

Meanwhile, Ben urged the cinematographer to keep the cameras rolling so they could capture multiple takes seamlessly.

In a lighter vein, Sienna teased about Ben's intentions, suggesting that he might be trying to showcase his endurance by repeatedly reenacting the scene.

She humorously remarked that only someone like Affleck could handle such a demanding love scene.

Ben himself clarified, “Sienna believed I was trying to portray myself as some sort of endurance champion, where it never seemed to end.

I just kept going, repeating the scene over and over again.”

However, for Ben's other co-stars, such as Blake Lively, the experience of filming intimate scenes with him was far from comfortable.

Blake candidly expressed, “It wasn't about featuring a gratuitous s=x scene to attract viewers or create buzz; it actually deterred audiences, those around us, and ourselves.

Recalling her initial interactions with Ben on set, Blake admitted that the scenes were unsettling, especially as they depicted two characters at odds with each other.

She shared, “It's uncomfortable, devoid of romance, and carries a lot of sorrow because these characters despise one another yet find themselves entwined in this situation.”

The challenging scenes unfolded on Blake's first day of filming, and she revealed that prior to shooting the movie, in 2008, she had only shared kisses with three individuals.

Reflecting on her past, she stated, “I never went through a phase where I engaged in substance abuse and intimate relations with my best friend's partner…

I never experienced such wild times.”
