Sienna Miller’s Admission of Affair with Daniel Craig and ‘I Love You’ Voicemail

Sienna Miller disclosed today that she had a brief romantic involvement with fellow actor Daniel Craig.

However, she clarified that leaving a voicemail expressing ‘I love you' was a common practice for her after ending conversations with friends or family.

During her testimony at the Old Bailey court, Miller addressed a message she left on Craig's phone which read, “Hi.

It's me.

Can't speak.

I'm at the Groucho with Jude.

I love you.”

She emphasized that the declaration of love in the voicemail was not as significant as portrayed, as it was a customary sign-off for her communication with Craig.

The scandal erupted when the News of the World alleged back in 2005 that Miller was unfaithful to her then-partner Jude Law after intercepting the voicemail message from Craig's inbox.

In her virtual testimony from New Orleans, Miller denied the suggestion that the voicemail indicated a romantic relationship with Craig, asserting that their involvement was brief and characterized by friendship.

Former News of the World reporter Dan Evans had previously linked the story of Miller and Craig's affair to the contentious voicemail.

Despite the implications drawn from the message, Miller underscored that any romantic aspect between her and Craig was insignificant.

Addressing her interactions with the media, Miller acknowledged the challenges she faced in communicating with journalists as part of her professional obligations.

She recounted negative encounters with the press but refrained from confirming any emotional distress during her communications with her former stepmother, Kelly Hoppen.

Evans had claimed to have heard Miller in tears during a message to Hoppen, to which Miller responded that due to the emotionally taxing period, she could not definitively recall her state of mind during those calls.

Moreover, Miller reflected on her connection with the media industry while being questioned by Timothy Langdale QC, representing former editor Andy Coulson in a trial concerning phone hacking and misconduct charges.

She acknowledged the complexities of engaging with the media and alluded to past unfavorable experiences within the industry.

Coulson, along with former editors Rebekah Brooks and several others, stands accused in the trial, with all defendants vehemently denying the allegations levied against them.
