Simon Cowell has reportedly repaired his relationship with Andrew Silverman, the man whose wife he famously had an affair with.
The music mogul, 58, fathered a child with socialite Lauren Silverman, 40, while she was still married to Andrew, 40, causing their marriage to crumble.
Andrew was furious when he discovered the betrayal and filed for divorce, citing adultery.
At the time, Simon admitted his wrongdoing and expressed his regret over the circumstances.
The tension between the two men grew so intense that Andrew allegedly prohibited Simon from being around their son Adam, 11, during meetings in New York.
However, The Mail on Sunday now claims that Andrew and Simon have resolved their differences and “buried the hatchet.”
Shockingly, it is said that their relationship has become friendly again because Andrew reached out to Simon during difficult times, including after his mother’s death.
A source revealed that Simon has always wanted to maintain a cordial relationship for the sake of Adam, but in reality, the situation was very acrimonious.
Now, they are truly on good terms, even discussing the possibility of going on joint family vacations like they used to.
The turnaround is quite surprising.
Andrew has since remarried in 2015 to Samantha Zimmerman, who bears a resemblance to Lauren.
It appears that the couple may now be planning a holiday together with Simon, Lauren, and the children.
This is a stark contrast to just a few years ago when Simon, Lauren, and Andrew were seen enjoying vacations together in the Caribbean.
When news of the affair broke, Andrew’s brother Alexander described it as a story of betrayal, tragedy, and sadness.
It seems that if Simon Cowell can heal this rift, there is hope for reconciliation with anyone.
While he may be successful at making amends in his personal life, recent events have shown that he struggles with his neighbors.
The Sun recently revealed that Simon had a heated argument with a neighbor over a parking issue.
Despite this, it seems that Simon is making an effort to mend relationships that matter to him.
