Colin Farrell, the 36-year-old actor, humorously shared the challenges he faced while working with his Total Recall co-star, Kate Beckinsale.
He playfully mentioned that one of the trickiest parts of the job was having to kiss Beckinsale with her “handsome director husband,” Len Wiseman, always present on set, overseeing the filming of the reboot.
During an interview with FlicksandBits.com, Farrell candidly expressed that the kissing scenes were indeed awkward due to Wiseman’s constant presence.
He described the experience as uncomfortable, noting that it was one of the most challenging situations he had encountered throughout his 15 years in the film industry.
Despite the discomfort of the intimate scenes, Farrell found enjoyment in shooting the action sequences alongside Beckinsale.
He revealed that engaging in fight scenes was a thrilling experience, and by the end of filming, he had become well-versed in Beckinsale’s fighting style, just as she was familiar with his own techniques.
Delving into the physical demands of the role, Farrell explained that the training for the action-packed movie was intense.
He disclosed that he arrived in Toronto a month prior to filming to prepare for the rigorous physicality required for the role.
