Actor Tom Sizemore found himself in trouble once again as he was arrested on Thursday for driving under the influence (DUI) and possession of narcotics, as confirmed by Fox News.
Sgt.
Dan Suttles from the Glendale Police Department disclosed to Fox News that the 58-year-old actor, known for his role in “Saving Private Ryan,” was initially pulled over in the early hours of the morning due to an “unsafe lane change.”
After a brief investigation following the traffic violation stop, Sizemore was taken into custody for both DUI and possession of narcotics, as stated by Suttles.
Reports from TMZ indicate that the arrest took place in Glendale, California, at approximately 2:30 a.m.
Additionally, Suttles verified to Fox News that Sizemore had an existing arrest warrant during his recent apprehension, related to a separate narcotics possession charge from the Burbank Police Department.
Online records accessed by Fox News reveal that Sizemore was officially booked by the Burbank Police Department at 3:15 a.m., with bail set at $10,000.
This is not the first time the actor has faced drug-related issues.
Before this latest incident, Sizemore was detained in January 2019 on misdemeanor drug charges.
Reports from law enforcement showed that his car was stopped due to expired registration, leading to a search that uncovered illicit substances.
Sizemore, known for his role in “Pearl Harbor,” was previously taken into custody in 2016 on allegations of domestic violence.
The actor’s troubled history with drugs and legal disputes continues to be a recurring theme in his life, often making headlines for the wrong reasons.
