Controversial statements made by actor Tom Sizemore alleging that former President Bill Clinton engaged in a romantic relationship with actress Liz Hurley during his time in office have been vehemently denounced by Sizemore's own manager as “the incoherent ramblings of a substance abuser.”
In a recently surfaced audio recording described as a “bombshell,” Sizemore can be heard asserting that Clinton requested Hurley's contact information during a White House screening of the movie “Saving Private Ryan” in 1998.
According to Sizemore, Clinton purportedly phoned Hurley, identifying himself as her “commander in chief,” and insisted on her immediate presence, claiming, “I don't have time for this nonsense.
I am busy averting global catastrophe.
A plane will be dispatched to fetch you.”
Sizemore, who has been depicted in images allegedly using illicit substances, alleges that Clinton arranged for Hurley to be flown to Washington D.C. for a four-day rendezvous.
The actor further claimed that they engaged in a yearlong affair until Clinton terminated it, citing burgeoning feelings of affection.
However, Sizemore's manager, Charles Lego, adamantly refuted these assertions, labeling them as baseless fabrications stemming from Sizemore's drug-induced state.
Lego expressed skepticism, questioning whether it was plausible that President Clinton would deploy Air Force One solely to transport Liz Hurley.
Lego disclosed that the recording was created half a decade ago, a period marked by Sizemore's substance abuse issues.
He revealed that an individual in possession of the tape had previously attempted to extort money from Sizemore before ultimately disclosing it to the public.
Lego recounted, “A woman contacted me, claiming she possessed incriminating recordings and images of Tom, demanding $20,000.
She alleged that he appeared intoxicated.
Subsequently, she sent me photos [which were later published by the National Enquirer].
When I threatened to involve law enforcement, she abruptly cut off communication.
It is evident that Tom was under the influence in the recording.
However, presently, Tom is entirely sober.”
Subsequently, Sizemore renounced his own claims.
In an interview with the Huffington Post, he attributed the recording to his struggles with addiction and expressed remorse, stating, “I wish to offer my apologies to her [Elizabeth] for any distress or misinformation I may have caused her, the Clintons,
