Why the Mafia Had to Kill Marilyn Monroe

The Shocking Truth Behind 's Death Revealed

In a stunning revelation, it has been claimed that was murdered by the mafia as an act of revenge to discredit her lover, .

American union leader Jimmy Hoffa and Chicago mafia boss Sam Giancana are said to have orchestrated the killing, as they were under investigation as part of a crackdown on organized crime ordered by Kennedy, who was the US Attorney General at the time.

According to a new book by Wendy Leigh titled “The Secret Letters,” mafia hit-men administered deadly drugs to Monroe through an enema, effectively leaving no trace of the pills in her stomach.

The motive behind the murder was reportedly the anger of Hoffa and Giancana towards the Kennedys for turning against the mafia after benefiting from their support during Jack Kennedy's presidential campaign.

These claims challenge the widely accepted belief that Monroe's death was a suicide resulting from a drug overdose.

Leigh's book presents evidence from three years of extensive research using forensic evidence and government documents.

Monroe passed away on the night of August 4, 1962.

Near her bed, there was a bottle of chloral hydrate with only 10 out of the original 50 pills remaining.

The book suggests that this hypnotic drug was frequently employed by the mafia as a weapon for pharmaceutical murder, having been used in previous underworld killings.

During the autopsy, Los Angeles Deputy Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas Noguchi discovered traces of chloral hydrate and barbiturate sleeping tablets known as Nembutal in Monroe's blood.

Although the amount of drugs found in her system would have been fatal to 15 people, there was no evidence of tablets in her stomach.

Leigh speculates that Monroe was given the drugs in the form of an enema, although the exact method remains a mystery.

Bruises on her body indicate that she may have been involved in a violent struggle prior to her death.

The investigation into Monroe's death was further complicated by the unexplained disappearance of tissue and bodily samples that had been sent to a toxicology lab for analysis.

John Miner, head of the Los Angeles District Attorney's medical-legal section at the time, believes that an enema is the most plausible explanation.

He argues that this method would leave no residue in the stomach, making it difficult to detect.

Unfortunately, the two individuals who could provide definitive answers to this mystery are deceased.

Hoffa vanished in 1975 and is presumed to have been murdered by the mafia, while Giancana died the same year, just before he was scheduled to testify about his relationship with the Kennedys.

According to Leigh, the events leading up to Monroe's murder can be traced back to Joe Kennedy, patriarch of the Kennedy family, who was once involved in bootlegging operations with notorious mafia boss Frank Costello during Prohibition in the 1930s.

Decades later, when Jack Kennedy decided to run for the presidency, it is alleged that Joe Kennedy sought assistance from the Cosa Nostra to secure votes.

However, the relationship between the Kennedys and the mafia soured when became Attorney General and initiated a crackdown on organized crime.

Hoffa, the leader of the powerful Teamsters truckers' union and a figure closely linked to organized crime, had already clashed with Kennedy in court, resulting in a bitter rivalry between the two.

In 1962, both Hoffa and Giancana were under investigation by the Justice Department, prompting them to join forces to solve their mutual problem.

FBI records from that time reveal a conversation in which Hoffa expressed the need to eliminate Kennedy, stating that it would be easy due to his predictable routines.

However, they ultimately decided to tarnish Kennedy's reputation by targeting his relationship with Monroe, utilizing wiretapping to monitor her phone conversations and bedroom activities.

The shocking claims made in Wendy Leigh's book shed new light on the circumstances surrounding Marilyn Monroe's death.

While the truth may never be fully known, this latest revelation raises intriguing questions about the role of the mafia in one of Hollywood's most enduring mysteries.
