Lana Del Rey Hits Back at Influencer Accusing Her of Witchcraft and Satanic Rituals

In a recent Instagram incident, Lana Del Rey, the renowned singer of “Summertime Sadness,” found herself at odds with a Christian influencer who accused her of practicing witchcraft during one of her concerts.

The accuser claimed that Del Rey's music had a “demonic energy” that caused a mishap among the crowd.

The woman boldly asserted that the spells Del Rey allegedly used to make her music attractive were inviting demons into the audience and the listeners themselves.

She warned her followers to stay away from the Grammy-winning artist and even shared footage of concertgoers apparently falling simultaneously during one of Del Rey's performances at a music festival.

While the cause of the crowd incident remains unclear, Del Rey, whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, wasted no time in responding to the accusations.

She fired back by stating that she knew the Bible verse for verse better than her accuser and added a playful insult, suggesting that the accuser emitted “super gremlin energy” in a negative way.

Del Rey's snappy comeback prompted the accuser to disable her comments, but it garnered applause from her fans on X, formerly known as Twitter.

One user jokingly suggested that Del Rey should incorporate the incident into one of her songs, while another praised her for handling the situation like a queen.

Another fan humorously pointed out that the accusation stemmed from the disbelief that someone could possess such a sweet voice.

On the professional front, the “Young and Beautiful” singer recently concluded a 10-date mini-tour to celebrate her latest album, “Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.”

During her return to the stage in May after nearly four years, Del Rey surprised the audience by sporting a short, curly blonde wig reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe.

Later that month, she paid homage to the Hollywood icon in her music video for “Candy Necklace.”
